Established in 1968, the business is still a family-run company with traditional values and skills enhanced by the latest digital manufacturing processes. The brother and sister team of Pam and Derek Connor come from a long line of sign writers; Derek continues to practice the skills passed on to him from his Father, who in turn learnt from his Father, as did his Father before him. Five generations of artisans stretching back over 100 years. In 2023 we celebrate 55 years of of helping our customers.

Traditional Hand Painted Signs

Derek Connor is one of only a handful of signwriters still using traditional methods to produce unique and beautifully created signs. His skills are still in demand by those who want an exclusive hand-made sign including hanging signs, shop fascias, exterior lettering and gold leaf.

Much of Derek’s work has been used in pubs, hotels, shops and restaurants as part of the interior design.
